Read Across America Week starts tomorrow. Be sure to dress up like your future profession or wear gear from your favorite college/university! Reading leads to a great future!
WJHS is celebrating Read Across America next week. We invite students and staff to celebrate the joys of reading as they think about all the places they can go when they read a book!
WJHS Volleyball Tryout Information:
6th Grade: January 3rd, 4th, and 5th from 3:15 - 5:15pm @ Gardner
7th & 8th Grade: January 6th & 7th from 3:15 - 5:15pm @ Gardner
All athletes must have a current physical on file in the office to tryout. Physical questions can be directed to Nurse Davis at sdavis@wcusd5.net.
All other questions can be directed to Coach Esker at kesker@wcusd5.net.
Every Friday in November will be Hat Day! For $1, students are invited to wear a hat to benefit the Thanksgiving Baskets that will be donated to House of Neighborly Service.

Due to the forecasted temperature and winds, the ice cream social scheduled for tomorrow will now be held on Tuesday after school.
Remember to wear your red tomorrow to kick off Red Ribbon Week.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 28th from 12pm – 8pm and Friday, October 29th from 8am – 12pm. There is no school for students these days.
Conferences will be held via zoom, but in-person conferences are available if requested. Masks are expected to be worn at all times. If you would like to schedule in-person, please indicate this in the comments section. Zoom links will be shared the week of conferences.
