If you don't get through on the Miine Health app for certifying your child this morning, wait about 5-10 minutes and try again. Jr. High and High School students started back yesterday and were checking in for the first time. This caused some problems that the Miine Health people are working on. Thanks for your patience.
Miine Health App is working again. If you weren't able to certify your child you can do this now and/or call our office for a verbal certification.

Thank you to all Zahnow families for your understanding these past few days as we continue to work through our arrival and dismissal process. Buses ran late today during dismissal. This is fairly normal the first few days of school as we are double checking student tags and bus numbers before students are getting on buses. Additionally, the bus drivers are becoming familiar with their riders and routes. If you have questions about your route please call or email. Thank you again for your patience.
IMPORTANT:
1. Starting tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 25, if you are dropping off a kindergarten student after 7:55 or if you see a long line of yellow school buses in the kindergarten lane, please use the front drop off on Hamacher Street. There are supervisors at this drop off area to help students with vehicle doors & get them to their classrooms also.
2. Starting tomorrow, Friday, Sept 25, at pick up, if you have a child in Mrs. Beck, Ms. McAlister, Mrs. Carlton, Mrs. Buettner & Mrs. Miller's classes, once you have your child please turn into the staff's parking lot to exit back onto Rogers Street. All parents, when you have picked up your child, feel free to pull over to the left hand lane to exit. Please remember to be cautious as you pull around cars to leave and when pulling up to your child's pick up area.

Reminder to self-certify your child before school today. This is important. We will be contacting anyone that does not certify. If at any point, on any day, you accidentally mismark your daily check in, please call the attendance line. Leave a message with "student name" and "an explanation and we can fix the Miine information from here.
Any questions on self-certifying, please call our office. We open at 7am.
First Grade Parents: Your child's teacher will be putting bus tags on students' backpacks while at school Thursday. Please send your child with his/her name tag on his/her shirt on Thursday and Friday. This was sent home in the orange folder. First Grade Teachers are sending out the "How I Get Home Survey" this afternoon. As soon as the bus company sends us the bus information and times, your teacher will email you this information. Be looking for this to come later today or Wednesday morning.

Below is a list of a few reminders for Thursday and students that are returning in person for learning.
*Practice the Miine Health app for self certifying your child. If you have questions about this please call our office 939-3458.
*Complete your classroom teachers survey about dismissal schedules for your child.
*If riding a bus to a place other than home address, fill out the Special Bus Request online, email it, or come to our office to get a form. This must be filled out ASAP.
*Arrival and Dismissal are Drop & Go, Pick up & Go. Parents are to remain in their vehicles. Students should exit on curb side. Kindergarten will be dropped off and picked up in the bus lane off of Rogers Street. First Grade will be dropped off/Picked up out front on Hamacher. PreK/EC will be dropped off and picked up at Norma Ave. This is a one way street. Supervisors/Teachers will help direct students and ensure that they get to their classrooms.
*Cars should have the rearview mirror tag posted for pick up. See picture of tag below. If you don't have one by Wednesday, contact your teacher.
*All students should come with their name tag and their backpack tag.
*All students are required to wear a mask.
*Please have your child bring his/her school loaned Chromebook to school on Thursday in his/her backpack. If you want to drop it off today or Wednesday, you can also do this in the school office.

We are excited to offer new "Bulldog Spirit Wear" for the 2020-2021 school year. This year has been anything but normal for our students! We are so proud of them and how they have continued to learn and grow during these difficult times and we think this design reflects that! We are BULLDOG STRONG!
All orders must be placed and paid for using the Winning Streak store link below. The store is open starting today, September 18th, and will run through October 4th. Once the store is closed, orders will no longer be able to be taken. When ordering, remember to choose the school that you would like your order delivered too. All orders will come packaged and labeled from Winning Streak. Once the orders arrive they will be sent home with students that are in person learning. For students participating in remote learning, an email will be sent out when orders arrive and will be available for pick up from the office of the building you had your order delivered to. Orders will take about 15-20 business days after the store closes to be delivered to the schools. Thank you and go Bulldogs!

Thank you to all families that have completed the Return to In Person Learning Plan Survey. Teachers and Staff are working hard to get the classrooms and school ready for our students who are returning in person. Those that haven't responded please do so by Monday, Sept. 21st. If you have questions, please reach out to your teacher or the school office. We want to help you with any questions you might still have about our in person or remote plans.
