General Announcements
Students, we are currently about $300 short of our $4000 goal in order to have Anna shave her head on Wednesday during activity period with the basketball coaches. If you want to see this happen, please scrounge up any loose change or dollar bills and donate them during school today and tomorrow or before school in the main hallway.
Attention Students! Auditions for the Spring Musical will take place today in Room E201 and Wednesday, March 11th in the high school Auditorium. Auditions will run from 3pm to 5:30 each day. Even if you don’t want to be onstage, there is still plenty to do! Please see Mr. Rickert or Mrs. Munsell for more information
Prom 2020 : Dreams do come true in New Orleans!!
Prom is April 18th at the Falls in Columbia, IL from 7:00-11:00. Tickets are available during 6th hour lunch on Tuesday, March 24th through Thursday, March 26th. Tickets are $55 each and must be purchased BEFORE Friday, April 3rd. Lunch ticket sales must be cash or check (made to WHS).
This Wednesday before school and during activity period, Post Prom will be selling donuts for $1.00 each
If you are interested in designing the t-shirt for Post Prom 2020, please see Mrs. Kretchmer is D118 during activity period this Wednesday!
Attention juniors: Voting for prom court 2020 is now open. An email has been sent to your account with a link to vote. Voting is open until Friday the 13th at 3 pm!!
Gently used and brand new/never worn formal dresses have been donated to WHS for students to use for Prom and Madrigals. If you are interested in checking out the Dress Closet, see Mrs. Munsell in the Choir Room before or after school
Congrats to all of the students who represented WHS at the 2020 IHSA Solo & Ensemble Festival! Bejamin Breithaupt, Jackson Briethaupt, Tary Gregson, Molly Grohmann, Jacob Kujawa, Alex Marquardt, Rachel Patterson, Norah Scott, and the WHS Brass Quintet all received division 1 excellent ratings. Winnie Blanchfield, Gage Brumley, Molly Grohmann, Lillian Prather, and the WHS trumpet Quartet received Division 2 great ratings. Thanks for all of your hard work!
Tonight is the Top Dog Ceremony! Top Dogs are reminded to be here and seated on stage at 6:15 p.m. We are looking forward to an awesome night. All Top Dogs from years past are also asked to join in the celebration of this honor by wearing their Top Dog medallion to school on Wednesday!
